Millennial wedding in Barcelona: Sweet Decadence Styled shoot for The Experialist featured on All Lovely Party – Magazine 09
Millennials are getting married.
The smartphone generation, more than 80 millions of people just in the USA, is revolutioning traditions, relationships, rituals.
And something curious is happening.
The smartphone generation, more than 80 millions of people just in the USA, is revolutioning traditions, relationships, rituals.
And something curious is happening.
While in Barcelona, during my last proposal, I literally had to kick a bunch of shooting tourists (hungry for… memories? Romance? Human landscapes?) out of my photos, a growing number of people is choosing to find a way out of the digital crowd and is changing the way of sharing.
Things evolved so much since the 80s that it feels like we ended up beyond the digital era, with a new perspective on nature, local traditions, relationship with ourselves, others, technology.
After years of social-friendly ceremonies and guest photographers, unplugged weddings are giving new life to an old-fashioned way of enjoying life, living the moment, creating memories.
Elopements, small and intimate weddings, romantic escapes in the most beautiful destinations (old Europe, breathtaking Iceland, Indonesia, Hawaii) are the new mood of love.
Today, with the romantic and nostalgic inspirational shoot featured on All Lovely Party – Magazine 09 – that I shot for the talented wedding planner The Experialist, I celebrate this mood.
A soft, messy braid, an ancient, breathtaking venue, a scary bear roaring from above the delicate bouquet set the tone for this intimate, ethereal and dark tribute to meaningful weddings.
Bride and groom walk on the stunning backdrop of La Baronia (Barcelona), surrounded by blush-hued details and caressed by the dreamy, golden light of a sunny summer wedding.
Everything, from the flat wedding shoes to the charming, flowy dress by Inmaculada Garcia, reminds of the magical, moody atmosphere of a romantic novel.
